10 Tips to Make a Subtle Change to Your New Year Look

10 Tips to Make a Subtle Change to Your Look-Chispa MagazineAre you a little bored of your look? Want to make a subtle change for the New Year, but you’re not sure what? There are so many things you can do to change up your look without doing anything drastic. Take a look at the following 10 things to see what suits you best:

Whiten Your Teeth
Whitening your teeth can change your look way more than you probably think. You don’t need to go to the dentist to have it done either, so don’t panic! All you need to do is invest in some strips for your teeth, or a jar of coconut oil. There are lots of different home tips and tricks you can use to whiten your teeth.

Have Your Brows Done
If you don’t currently shape your brows, you should start. Your eyebrows make such a huge difference to your face. Find the best salon in your area and have your brows done there, especially if it’s the first time you’re having them done. They should shape them to suit your face. Consider having them tinted too, so they really shape your face and enhance your eyes.

Enhance Your Lashes
Your lashes make the most of your eyes. Enhance them by having them treated. You can have them tinted, curled, and even lengthened. With a Latisse 5ml treatment you can make your lashes naturally longer. If you want a quick fix, you could even have eyelash extensions.

Smooth Your Skin
Having smooth skin can be a real confidence boost. You can do this by exfoliating and applying a regular face mask. Start taking care of your skin now before it’s too late! If you have a bigger skin issue, you might need to go to see a doctor.

Use a Shine Spray on Your Hair
Having shiny hair is a sign of health. You don’t need to have the shiniest hair naturally though; you can simply spray some shine on! However, do this when your style is perfect.

Change Your Hair Color
By changing your hair color you can change your entire look. Why not get a few highlights or lowlights for a subtle change?

Experiment With a Different Lipstick
If you always wear the same lipstick, try experimenting with a different shade. You don’t need to go for a totally different shade. Maybe something slightly lighter or darker than you usually go for. You could even go for a different finish, like matte or luster.

Get a Fringe
The right fringe can change the look of your face too. If you have a round face, a whispy fringe could help to slim it out. A square face can be softened with a softer fringe.

Change Your Parting
Flip your parting over and try it on the other side. It’s subtle enough, but you should be able to to see the difference it makes to your look.

Add a New Color to Your Wardrobe
If you always wear one kind of color, add a new one. If you love black, add a brighter colour. If you always wear color, add something black!
