Make Your Bathroom More Luxurious With These Fantastic Ideas

Make Your Bathroom More Luxurious With These Fantastic Ideas-Chispa MagazineWhen it comes to home interior decoration, we all have different styles and tastes. Some of us opt for basic designs while others prefer something a little more daring.

Even our bathrooms don’t escape our attention when it comes to an interior redesign. Are you thinking of giving your bathroom a makeover soon? If so, have you thought about going for a luxurious theme? Here are some beautiful and inspirational ideas to help if you haven’t:

Get a chair. Walk into any luxurious bathroom and the one thing you’ll always find in there is a chair. Your choice of seating is down to you, of course. Some folks might want a simple stool while others would rather a comfortable Ottoman.

Just make sure that your bathroom is large enough to accommodate a chair of some description. You might be wondering why elegant bathrooms have seating? Well, they are useful if you wanted to sit down and do your hair and makeup, for instance. After all; why stand up when you can sit down?

Get rid of the builder’s standard issue sink. Many bathrooms will have a typical white “standard issue” sink fitted. That’s because they are cheap to buy and easy to install. If your sink is letting the side down, it’s time to retire it.

There are a veritable plethora of stylish sinks out there that could adorn your bathroom. For example, how about unique stone vessel sinks? You can also get ones made out of copper, granite or glass. There are even some available with exquisite and detailed illustrations on them. Now you will love washing your hands…

Containers are your friend. Is your bathroom full of random objects strewn around the sink and countertop? If so, you might like to put them in some decorative containers. The style of jars that you use are down to you, but I recommend glass ones. Examples include Mason and Kilner jars.

To add an extra touch of luxury, have a decorative wooden tray underneath your jars. You could also place other items on the tray, such as scented candles.

Why have a mat when you can have a rug? Mats are brilliant at absorbing water but who said you can’t have some attractive rugs? They are, of course, available in a range of colors, sizes, and styles.

When selecting bathroom rugs, choose some that complements its general design and style. My personal preference is for Turkish and Persian rugs.

Get a decorative mirror. Typical bathroom mirrors seem cold and depressing. There’s nothing interesting about them, and they do nothing to brighten the room up. That’s why I always recommend replacing existing mirrors with decorative ones. In my home, for example, I have an oval one with a thick and twisted wooden frame.

Tip: Visit a flea market for a used mirror to add character to your bathroom. If you’re going for the shabby chic look in your luxurious design, it’s a brilliant idea.
