If you’re thinking about going to law school, there are a few things you’ll need to consider before you make your final decision. Law school isn’t for the faint of heart, so if it’s something you want to do, you’re going to need to be prepared to put in years of hard work. Here are some questions to ask yourself?
Am I Determined Enough To Stick With It?
Law school is hard, plain and simple. There are so many things you need to learn, and so many tests you have to take. It can seem never-ending. Are you determined enough to stick with it? You wouldn’t be the first person to drop out of law school because it’s too hard. To succeed in law school and in the position afterwards, you really need to the the type of person who doesn’t give up.
Am I Prepared To Start From The Bottom?
Starting from the bottom is more often than not the case once you’ve left law school. Time to land a job! While you’re at law school, you may even need to secure an apprenticeship. Depending on the area you’re in, there likely won’t be that many around. You’ll really have to fight tooth and nail to make sure that apprenticeship goes to you. You have to put up a fight if you want to get out of law school alive. It isn’t going to be anything like ‘Legally Blonde’!
