Turning Negatives Into Positives

Dave-Says-Cash-Flow-School-Chispa-MagazineWe all have negative experiences that affect us, from bad days to bad years. They can disrupt your life and knock your confidence, sometimes making it hard to continue as before. But if anything bad happens to you, you can find a way to turn it into a more positive experience. You might not be able to reverse what has happened, but you can use it as an opportunity to make a change. You can find a new way of thinking about your life or perhaps move on to new pastures. These negative experiences could become positive with the right approach.

Illness or Injury
If you’re ill or get hurt, it could mean having to take time off work or changing your lifestyle. But it could also prompt you to think about your priorities. Maybe you’ll discover a new hobby, make it your mission to live healthier, or even just make the most of your rest.

Losing Money
A lot of things can cause you to lose money, from an unwise investment to an unexpected expense. If you’ve found yourself with less money than you want, it could become a learning experience. You can work out how to do things differently next time, so you don’t suffer financially.

Losing Your Job
Sometimes you’re prepared to lose your job, and sometimes it takes you by surprise. Either way, you can see it as a positive opportunity to restart your career. Maybe you needed a kick to reignite your passion, find an employer you actually like, or perhaps even retrain.
