You will get to travel. A big benefit of joining the military is the opportunities that the career will give you to travel. Not only will you be able to travel while on deployment, but you will also be able to go on various vacations with other military personnel.

If you are someone who loves travel and spending time in new places, then a career in the military might be perfect for you. However, just make sure you realize not all your travel will be glamorous. Often, when you are deployed to a war-torn place, you will be living in very basic conditions; you need to be prepared for that.
